This recipe is from SupperWorks Ottawa (see their article on summertime eating suggestions in this month’s newsletter). Side dishes like this will WOW your guests but take you only minutes to prepare! All you need is:

  • 1 bunch asparagus
  • 1 tbsp. Tabasco Green Jalapeno Pepper Sauce
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • Parmesan cheese

Wash the asparagus and remove its woody ends. Heat grill to medium and lightly brush the grates with oil. In a shallow bowl, coat asparagus with olive oil. Grill briefly, turning often, just until tender. Toss with Tabasco Jalapeno Pepper Sauce, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and you’re done!
